*Examples of dictators: Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin

 In USSR

 Before the Russian Revolution:

*The dictatorship of Tsar Nicholas II, he had absolute power to the country

Consequence of the Russian Revolution:

*Stalin and his team, the Bolsheviks became the main body of the government

*All the peasants who opposed Stalin were deported, sent to jails or even executed

*Stalin had control of everything (e.g. armies)

*Stalin forced a lot of people to "confess" crimes, such as planning a rebellion

*Stalin arrested and executed a lot of people with the excuses of the crimes the people conducted as above

*Stain moved into the Kremlin

In Animal Farm

When the Jones were still in charge of the farm:

*Mr. and Mrs. Jones had all the power and controlled every animal in the farm to make them do whatever the Jones wanted.

After the fall of the Jones, the pigs took over the entire farm:

*Napoleon changed the seven commandments for their own leisure and benefits, this action could "prevent" them from breaking the rules.

*There was a food shortage since most of the animals concentrated on building the windmill

*Animals who opposed Napoleon were executed, such as the hens who refused to surrender their eggs during the food      shortage

*Stalin forced a lot of animals to confess non-exsited crimes, such as in contact with Snowball

*The pigs moved into the farmhouse

 How they are related

 Relationships:

*Jones=Tsar     *Bolsheviks=Pigs      *Stalin=Napoleon       *Animals=Citizens (e.g. peasants, labor class, etc.)

*Kremlin=Farmhouse

Before the Russian Revolution, Tsar Nicholas II was the king of Russia. He was a dictator who had absolute power to the whole country, there were also food riots due to the shortage of food. In Animal Farm, when the Jones were in charge of the farm, they had absolute power to all the animals and properties of the farm; they didn't offer a good care to the animals, the animals often suffered starvation. After the Russian Revolution, Stalin and the Bolsheviks became the main body of the government, and the country fell into totalitarianism. Stalin jailed, deported, or even executed the people who opposed him. Napoleon executed the animals who opposed him too, such as the hens who refused to surrender their eggs during the food shortage. Later, Stalin moved into the Kremlin, and the pigs moved into the farmhouse. The greediness of Stalin and the pigs were shown in this action. The dictatorship of Stalin and the Bolsheviks, Napoleon and the pigs are shown above.
